by Paul Kingston
Angelo could not have had a better Olympics if he'd scripted it himself, and Saturday night, he wrapped his Beijing experience winning his second gold medal.
The American squad of Angelo, LaShawn Merritt, Jeremy Wariner and David Neville broke the Olympic record in the 4x400 meter relay, finishing in 2:55.39 -- .35 seconds better than the previous mark. The U.S. finished 12 strides -- 2.64 seconds -- ahead of the second-place Bahamians.
