Getting Busy
by Paul Kingston
Ever since returning from China, things have moved at the pace of -- well, someone as fast as Angelo.
Jennifer Brett of the Atlanta Journal Constitution chronicled Angelo's return to his hometown of Atlanta on Tuesday, asking him about his time abroad, and his plans for the immediate and long-term future.
There was a lot to talk about, starting with his stay in the Olympic Village.
He didn’t get to do much sightseeing in Beijing, but gives high marks to the Olympic Village, where most athletes lived during the Games.
“It was a very comfortable living situation,” he said. “The food was actually good. We had 24-hour McDonald’s.”
Angelo was extremely busy after returning to the U.S., where his travels took him to New York for the Friars Club and BET’s 106 & Park. He and a number of teammates also rang the bell at the New York Stock Exchange.
It's all fun now for AT, but after the celebrating is over, his goals are clear.
“I’m just going to run until the wheels fall off,” he said.
